Get direct access on to the world class Croyde beach from the resort.

Our accommodation backs on to the sand dunes and the beach is only a very short walk. Croyde is known for being one of the best surfing beaches in the country and has plenty of space to put down a towel and enjoy those sunny days.

It has RNLI lifeguards daily from the end of March to the end of September as well as during October half term and weekends.

So many Fantastic Beaches on your doorstep

For many of our guests, Croyde beach, which is just over the dunes from the Resort, simply has everything you need for your holiday. Acres of golden sand and dunes, rock pools, and some fun waves when it’s time to play in the surf.

Very close by, either side of Croyde Bay, there are three more amazing beaches that are well worth a visit.

Woolacombe

Woolacombe beach lies between Morte Point and Baggy Point. A short drive through glorious Devon Countryside. Recently voted Number 1 in the UK on Tripadvisor (February 2016) for the second year running! The three-mile long stretch of golden sand is renowned for it’s cleanliness, water quality and facilities. Life guards ensure safe family swimming during the summer and surfers come from all over the country to enjoy the great waves and clean water.

Saunton Sands

You pass by Saunton Sands just 2 miles before Croyde Bay. The beach is big – very big – and popular with surfers and longboarders alike, as well as the occasional film crew! Parts of the 2014 box office smash ‘Edge of Tomorrow’ starring Tom Cruise and Emily Blunt were shot here. As a backdrop to the beach you also have access to the fabulous Braunton Burrows, a spectacular sand dune system and a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve.

Putsborough Sands

Putsborough Sands is just ¾ of a mile on the other side of Croyde. Another long expanse of sandy beach with occasional rock pools, it’s a perfect playground for a family day out. The waves here are better for surfing beginners and sea kayaking and the wonderfully clean bathing water, makes it a paradise for both swimmers and paddlers alike. Stay late and enjoy one of the spectacular sunsets.
